About The Position

KPFF Seattle's Transportation Team focuses on designing infrastructure that moves people and connects communities across the region. We work on a wide range of transit and transportation projects, including roadway and trail improvements, fish passage enhancements, and major infrastructure efforts throughout the Puget Sound and Pacific Northwest. Our team supports projects from early planning and feasibility through design, permitting, and construction. We collaborate closely with public agencies, transit authorities, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions that improve mobility, restore natural systems, and strengthen the built environment. Located in downtown Seattle, our office is seeking a Roadway/Civil Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience designing civil engineering projects. This position will provide the opportunity for you to design a diverse array of projects in a team environment.

Requirements

  • 4 years' experience with civil engineering projects (site development and/or transportation)
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
  • Working proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Bonus Points for MicroStation and OpenRoads (InRoads, GEOPAK)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Passionate about providing exceptional client service

  • Work on stimulating and challenging multi-disciplinary projects, from planning through design and construction
