About The Position
As a Roadside Facility Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are operating at peak efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance to keep all systems functioning properly. This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as general facility maintenance. You will be expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs on various systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Your work will directly impact the safety and comfort of travelers using our facilities, making your role essential to our operations. In your day-to-day operations, you will conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become significant problems. You will perform preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and systems are in good working order. When maintenance requests come in from different locations, you will respond quickly to address the needs. Your troubleshooting skills will be put to the test as you diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend effective solutions. Compliance with safety regulations and company policies is paramount, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate logs and documentation of all maintenance activities. Collaboration with team members is key, as you will work together to complete various projects and tasks. Maintaining a safe environment for both travelers and workers is a priority, and you will be expected to use ladders and other tools to perform tasks such as changing lights, painting, and cleaning gutters. This position may also require you to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the maintenance program.
