About The Position
We are seeking an Independent Contractor to join our Roadside Assistance and Towing Program. This position allows you to provide either Towing services, Roadside Assistance, or both, depending on your capabilities and equipment. As an Independent Contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own coverage location, allowing you to work in any area you choose. This role is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income, as we do not guarantee a specific volume of jobs. The position requires availability for at least one of the specified shifts, which can be during weekdays or weekends, covering various time slots throughout the day and night in Eastern Standard Time. You will be responsible for providing essential roadside assistance services, including jumpstarts, fuel delivery, and tire services, as well as towing services such as winch-outs. To be successful in this role, you must possess the necessary tools and equipment, including a jumpstart pack, tire jack, impact drill, portable air pump, and gas cans. Additionally, you must have your own vehicle, preferably a tow truck if you are providing towing services, and a valid driver's license. You should also be willing to work within a minimum 20-mile radius from your base of operations. Compensation is structured at $50 per job for Roadside Assistance and $50 for hookup plus $2 per mile for towing, with the towing pay being slightly negotiable.
