About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roads & Highways Civil Engineer Intern – Summer 2026 to join our Denver, Colorado office. YOUR ROLE Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks Performs simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans ABOUT YOU EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field. EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2026). Requirements

No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Demonstrate strong communication skills including active listening
Willingness to ask questions

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (preferred)
