About The Position

Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, trucks and/or other heavy equipment Interpret work orders and technical manuals Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations Regular attendance is required Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations This is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances. Requirements

  • Must have a CDL Class B or higher
  • Must have acceptable MVR
  • Must have 3-5 years experience in diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must have own tools
  • Physical activities include: walking, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing, Etc.
  • Must work in a neat, orderly and safe manner
  • Should have specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment, including diesel engine systems diagnostics to ensure equipment is operating appropriately
