About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. The fleet primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment, with specialty lines including large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment. The position offers an entrepreneurial and empowering workplace with opportunities for skill development in service or operation management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.
• Ability to provide mechanic's tools of trade.
