Work schedule of Monday-Thursday, 10 hours/day (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) is routine unless weather or other business needs arise. On-call pay ($20/day) CDL training provide. Performs unskilled and semi-skilled highway and other road and street maintenance duties either manually or through a variety of hand tools and equipment. NOTE: The anticipated hiring range for the Road Maintenance Technician I is $23.60 to $25.02 an hour dependent upon qualifications and experience. The hiring range for the Road Maintenance Technician II is $23.11 to $34.68 an hour dependent upon qualifications and experience. While this position may be eligible for career progression, the county anticipates hiring this position as a Road Maintenance Technician I. This position will be joining our asphalt paving team or our asphalt patching team. This position will be located at 7600 S Peoria St, Centennial, CO. $2,500 signing incentive for new employees hired into this position! The signing incentive will be paid in three installments during the first year of employment. This incentive is for new County employees hired into this position; current Arapahoe County employees are not eligible.
