Requirements

• 1+ years of road logistics/truck transportation/supply chain operations experience.
• Knowledge of transportation industry systems and guidelines (dry van, reefer, flatbed, expedite, LTL).

Responsibilities

• Communicate by email and phone with shippers to confirm shipment information.
• Dispatch pickups for each shipment.
• Update missing shipment status.
• Monitor shipments to ensure moving as scheduled.
• Coordinate pickup/delivery appointments.
• Manage overall customer service to ensure excellent customer relations.
• Work directly with carriers (dry van, flatbed, & temp control) to ensure that loads are picked up and delivered.
• Communicate between the shipper, carrier, and customer to provide tactical solutions that improve the daily operations.
