Located in downtown Fresno, Community Regional Medical Center is the region’s flagship hospital and home to the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. As a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) on our cardiac surgery team, you’ll be part of a 40-member team — including three RNFAs — supporting procedures across Community Regional, Clovis Community, and Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital. Provide intraoperative support under the direct supervision of the surgeon, assisting with surgical exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons and multidisciplinary teams on more than 100 cardiac surgery cases each month, helping uphold excellence, sterile technique, and evidence-based best practices. Function as a Scrub or Circulating Nurse when not serving as RNFA, maintaining readiness to assist with cases across all three campuses.
