About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in the Labor & Delivery department is a full-time role requiring a commitment of 36 or more hours per week, specifically during the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. This position is critical in providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. In addition to direct patient care, the RN will play a vital role in educating patients and their families about the labor and delivery process, postpartum care, and any necessary follow-up treatments. The RN will also be expected to maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is committed to developing and maintaining a highly educated nursing staff. Therefore, all registered nurses are required to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five years of their employment date.
