About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Riverside Health System, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients at Grafton Partners in Women's Health. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the total nursing care of assigned patients. You will supervise and delegate tasks to non-professional personnel to ensure that optimum patient care is delivered. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. In this role, you will conduct complete patient assessments, which include taking vital signs, performing medication reconciliations, and executing pre-examination procedures. You will assess patients' medication management, ensuring compliance and addressing educational needs. Assisting providers in consultations, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will document all data and assessments in the patient record, ensuring accurate and timely information is available for patient care. Patient and family health counseling and education will also be a significant aspect of your role, covering topics such as medications, procedures, and testing. You will be expected to respond to My Chart messages or telephone calls from patients on the same day, perform triage, and communicate effectively with providers, vendors, and other team members. Prioritizing and delegating tasks appropriately will be essential to facilitate safe, quality patient care and meet patient needs. You will need to recognize and respond to emergency situations effectively, ensuring patient safety at all times. Additionally, you will evaluate practice support needs and identify resources to meet those needs. Engaging actively in practice activities to assure patient and team safety is vital. You will complete patient consults and testing orders, manage insurance pre-certifications, and document appropriately to ensure proper reimbursement. At the end of each nursing visit, you will document billing codes as required and route notes to providers for co-signatures when necessary.
