About The Position

We’re looking for a compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurse to join our busy physician practice! In this role, you’ll provide safe, high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting and serve as a supportive clinical resource for the team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Current NYS RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to provide age-appropriate care and work well within a team.
• Comfort using Electronic Health Records (EHR), practice management, and scheduling systems.
• At least two years of RN experience in a physician practice or ambulatory care setting (or equivalent related experience).
• Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and help create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive.
• Use clinical equipment safely and correctly, performing routine quality checks and reporting or arranging repairs when needed.
• Promote excellent patient and family satisfaction by responding to questions, concerns, or feedback in a timely and caring way. Document and escalate unresolved issues as appropriate.
• Follow proper infection control and aseptic techniques while performing all clinical tasks.
• Collect, prepare, and process lab specimens for on-site or off-site testing. Enter results into the medical record and maintain logs and quality controls for waived testing.
