Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing ADN, Diploma from an accredited school of nursing. , upon hire or Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire or Masters Of Nursing, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years emergency room RNexperience.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course, upon hire
- Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
- Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
- Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
- Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices. in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
- Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse to nurse report at the bedside.
- Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
