About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in Telemetry within a hospital setting. The role requires a strong understanding of cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiograms. The successful candidate must be accustomed to a 1:4 patient ratio and have experience in a DOU (Direct Observation Unit) or Step Down unit, also with at least two years of experience. EKG testing is conducted on-site during orientation to ensure proficiency with higher acuity cases, as there have been issues with Med/Surg/Tele RNs not being accustomed to the required acuity level.

Requirements

• AT LEAST TWO YEAR'S EXPERIENCE IN TELEMETRY IN A HOSPITAL
• MUST UNDERSTAND CARDIO VERSION &TRANS ESOPHOGEAL ECHO CARDIOGRAMS
• USE TO 1:4 RATIO
• DOU EXPERIENCE OR STEP DOWN (2 YEAR'S)
