Provides direct care to patients on a given unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Is responsible for managing care of assigned patients. Works primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations or pediatric and adolescent patients on assigned units.

  • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN; as evidenced by primary source of verification
  • Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
  • BLS CPR Certification Required
  • Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions.
  • Requires exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.
