About The Position

This is a Registered Nurse position specializing in Oncology, requiring Chemo certification and either ONS biotherapy or ONS immunotherapy certification. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:4-5 and must be able to float to other care areas to care for Medical-Surgical (MS) and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) patients. Patient diagnoses include hemeoncology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and an EKG exam are required, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Experience with Epic electronic health record system is also required. The unit does not accept first-time travelers, and working every other weekend is mandatory.
