About The Position

This full-time Registered Nurse position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to clinic patients, adhering to established standards and practices. The RN will assist physicians and staff in coordinating patient care and will function as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians. Freeman Health System is a locally owned, not-for-profit health system in Joplin, Missouri, comprising a 460-bed, three-hospital system. It provides comprehensive healthcare services to over 450,000 people across Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. The system includes Freeman Hospital West, Freeman Hospital East, Freeman Neosho Hospital, Ozark Center (behavioral health services), two urgent care clinics, dozens of physician clinics, and various specialty services. Requirements

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• Clinic Competency Assessment annually by transcript due date.
• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to clinic patients following established standards and practices.
• Assist physician and staff in coordinating patients care.
• Function as primary liaison between patients, staff and physician.
