About The Position

Checotah Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking registered nurses to join the team! Competitive Pay Benefits and PTO available to Full Time staff!

Requirements

• Registered nursing license in good standing in the state of Oklahoma, or compact with Oklahoma
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to lift greater than 50lbs
• Ability to bend, twist and squat on a regular basis
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Basic computer skills including typing, adapting quickly to new software, ability to look at a computer screen for long periods

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care including but not limited to monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, and wound care
• Medication administration
• Communicate with patients and authorized personnel
• Document patient history and maintain health records
• Participate in treatment planning
• Assist with medical procedures as appropriate per training and license
• Prepare patients for transfer and discharge
• Oversee nurse aides and medication aides on staff under your charge
