About The Position

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TN MHSAS) in Nashville, TN . This is an on-site day shift position working three 12.5-hour shifts per week from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. The pay rate for this position is $50.00 per hour. Registered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Under general supervision, will be responsible for registered nursing duties of average difficulty based on a wide range of circumstances and will perform related work as required. Providing nursing care and procedures according to physician's orders and nursing protocol. Administering medication according to the physicians' orders and protocol. Evaluating possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication. Performing BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and other emergency responses. Participating in emergency response settings. Education and Experience Required for Registered Nurse position: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and have experience equivalent to one year of registered nursing OR Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and education equivalent to a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or a diploma in registered nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). A valid motor vehicle operator license is required. MUST be local to the Nashville area. Minimum Requirements Upon Hire for Registered Nurse position: Current American Heart Association/BLS CPR-Basic Life Support Provider that is active for at least 1 year (we ONLY accept AHA/BLS , we DO NOT accept American Red Cross; we DO NOT accept online CPR certifications). One of the following must be fully completed before hire : A 2-step TB Skin Test ( within 1 year of hire date ) An IGRA-TB Blood test/QuantiFERON Gold ( within 1 year of hire date ) and a screener upon hire A Chest X-Ray ( within 1 year of hire date ) and a Screener upon hire TB Screening annually after initial clearance. Influenza Immunization (October thru April): Proof of vaccination is mandatory annually during Flu season or approval of application for exemption. Requirements
