Requirements

  • Must possess a current, valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or acute care setting is preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise a diverse nursing team and make critical clinical decisions independently.
  • A commitment to the NOC shift and providing compassionate care to our residents 24/7.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including complex assessments, medication administration, and emergency response.
  • Oversee and direct the day-to-day nursing activities performed by LVNs and Nursing Assistants, ensuring all tasks align with quality care standards.
  • Ensure all nursing activities are performed in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, as well as facility policies.
  • Report directly to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Nurse Supervisor, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • Perform comprehensive resident assessments, update care plans, and maintain meticulous clinical records for the incoming AM shift.
  • Ensure the facility remains secure and that all safety protocols are strictly followed during the night hours.
