About The Position
Garvey Manor is seeking a Contract RN for our Nurse Aide Program. A successful candidate MUST possess a current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania in good standing, have at least 2 (two) years working experience in a Long Term Care setting, and a certificate through Teach the Educator from PSU. Prior teaching experience is a plus. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinating and carrying out all responsibilities for full nurse aide instructional program. Teaching both clinical and classroom curriculum as required. Ensuring students remain on task and giving help and mentoring to students as needed to facilitate all students are successful. Scoring and grading tests and quizzes. QualificationsEach session will consist of a total of 100 hours of instructional time, plus any additional time needed to prepare for class.
