About The Position

A Registered Nurse is a professional holding a valid Indiana license, responsible and accountable for nursing practices based on specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from biological, physical, and behavioral sciences principles.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Indiana license as a Registered Nurse
  • Maintain competence in BLS after initial training
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all staff, physicians, and departments
  • Interpersonal skills to instruct and comfort patients and their families, and maintain communication with a variety of internal and external staff
  • Experience as determined by work area and hospital in order to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of unit and departmental policies and procedures
  • Meet established quality and quantity standards for the role
  • Minimum education: Associates, Bachelor's, or Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum licensure: Licensure in State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse
