About The Position

Number of Beds: 31 plus 6 hallway when needed Patient Ratios : 4:1 Unit staffing description: very high volume/high acuity trauma center Documentation system: Meditech/EDM Scheduling requirements: 3 twelve hr shifts/week Floating policy: As needed

Requirements

• RN with critical care, trauma, burn and pediatric experience a plus
• TNCC
• ENPC
• PALS
• ACLS
• BLS
• 2+ Years of Hospital Experience
• NIH REQUIRED
• Active TX RN License Or compact license – temp license will NOT be accepted
• Must have great patient interaction

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the following: High Volume, High Acuity Strokes Burns Trauma
• Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Traumas
• Conscious sedation
• tPA for strokes
