About The Position

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse at Carroll Lutheran Village! This is a PRN position to work as needed. Must have flexible availability and be able to work weekends now and then. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee a group of inpatient residents (census dependent on state laws) with the support of PCTs to conduct observations, measuring stats and machine set up Administer medication to senior residents Administer treatments as ordered Observe patients for physical or emotional changes Enter thorough and accurate documentation on electronic MAR/TAR (PCC) Deliver the highest-level in-patient care Supervise assigned Certified Medical Assistants and Geriatric Nursing Assistants Communication with Interdisciplinary team and physician What You'll Love About Carroll Lutheran Village and LSMMD: Exciting things are happening at LSMMD! Requirements

  • Must be licensed in the state of Maryland
  • Ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge
  • Must possess a strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way
  • Experience assessing, trouble shooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication skills to listen and communicate with senior and teammates
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
  • Being a team member, builder and leader
  • Time management skills
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work as assigned

Responsibilities
