RN Wound Care-Stanly Manor FT Days, Mon-Fri every 4th weekend
About The Position
Located in Abermarle, NC on 9 acres, Atrium Health Stanly Manor is an award-winning nursing and rehabilitation facility with 90 beds. We provide short term rehab, long term care, palliative care, and hospice care and are committed to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of all our residents. Nurses at this facility will assist with medication administration, assessments, wound care, bedside care, lab draws, and IV starts. There is a MD or PA/NP on site 4-5 days a week. Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes. Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
- Must speak English in good, understandable terms.
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch.
- Finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical abilities testing required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Prior SNF experience preferred
- Previous wound care experience highly preferred.
