RN – Wound Care – Part Time Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Requirements

  • Current Missouri RN license.
  • Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • ADN/BSN, preferred.
  • WOCN or certification in wound care, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and treatments to patient population
  • Make initial nursing assessments, develops documents and implements the patient plan of care to comply with regulations
  • Provide those services requiring substantial specialized nursing skills
  • Inform physician and other personnel of changes in patient’s condition and needs
  • Follow up with the physician for any change in orders and notifies patient or family of changes and assesses their understanding of those changes.
  • Complete weekly skin monitoring of inpatients, as appropriate, and make recommendations for care delivery in collaboration of inpatient nursing/leaders
  • Serve as a pivotal member of the interdisciplinary team (dietitian, rehab services, social service, nursing) etc.
  • Review treatment orders / implementation/ intervention
