About The Position

The position at WI-Waupun Memorial Hospital involves managing women's services activities, workflow, and nursing resources. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • No experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes pertinent health data to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Coordinates care delivery to promote woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care.
  • Employs health teaching strategies to promote, maintain, or restore health.
  • Evaluates progress toward expected outcomes in the context of woman, newborn, and family-centered care.
  • Determines decisions and actions on behalf of women, fetuses, and newborns ethically.
  • Practices congruently with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
  • Communicates and collaborates with women, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Serves as a role model, change agent, consultant, and mentor.
  • Maintains knowledge and competencies reflecting current evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Generates or integrates evidence to validate and evaluate interprofessional knowledge.
  • Implements new measures to improve the quality of nursing practice.
  • Evaluates nursing practice against professional standards and guidelines.
  • Considers resource factors related to safety, effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Practices in an environmentally safe and healthy manner.
  • Applies evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in nursing care.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
