Fairview Hospital's 5 Pavilion Complex Medical Care and Telemetry unit has a dedicated team of caregivers that provide top-quality inpatient acute care to adults recovering from a wide variety of conditions, such as pneumonia, heart failure and chest pain, as well as monitor pre-operative and post-operative surgical patients. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients' discharge plans and monitoring, recording and communicating patients' condition. This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic's Weekender Flex Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week. This schedule allows caregivers to enjoy personal time during the week with family and friends and take care of any errands that will not interfere with a typical day shift schedule. A caregiver in this position works shifts varying from 7:00 a.m. -- 7:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

- Prior med/surg experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
