RN Weekender Flex - Bone Marrow Transplant
About The Position

The G110 Bone Marrow Transplant Unit is dedicated to the care of patients undergoing a bone marrow transplant for a diagnosis of leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other cancers. The highly skilled G110 caregivers assist with giving patients high dose chemotherapy followed by autologous, allogeneic, umbilical cord or nonmyeloablative transplant. This unit also provides treatment of graft versus host disease and symptom management for chronic patients. This RN position is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Weekender Flex Program and will require you to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week. While you are only working 36 hours a week, Cleveland Clinic will pay you for 44 hours of work and give you full-time status and benefits. This schedule allows caregivers to enjoy personal time during the week with family and friends and take care of any errands that will not interfere with a typical day shift schedule. A caregiver in this position works 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One-year of current acute care RN experience.
- Will consider military RN experience

Responsibilities
