About The Position

The Weekend Supervisor (RN) at Salem Crossing is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring high-quality care for residents during weekend shifts. Requirements

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative, or geriatric nursing settings.
• One year of supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• Current active state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents, making a positive impact on their lives.
• Assist in onboarding new teammates and act as a supportive colleague.
• Coordinate resident care by developing and distributing nursing assignments for each unit employee.
• Communicate care plan goals and approaches to direct care staff to ensure consistent implementation.
• Monitor the delivery of care and services throughout the shift, ensuring needs are met and documentation is accurate.
