About The Position

Atrium Health Cleveland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Weekend Program in the 4W Med/Surg unit. This position is full-time and will require working night shifts. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during their stay. This role is crucial in maintaining the standards of care and supporting the overall mission of Atrium Health.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina
• BLS certification
• Previous experience in a Med/Surg setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Certification in Med/Surg nursing
• Leadership experience or interest in leadership roles

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans
• Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety programs
