About The Position

The RN - Weekend Evening Supervisor will plan, direct, control, supervise, and coordinate all Nursing Service activities at the Puller Veterans Center. This role involves supervising and coordinating the daily activities of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring proper staffing levels, and providing training, coaching, and mentoring to the nursing staff. The supervisor will conduct performance evaluations, assist with disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. The position also includes overseeing the delivery of nursing care to residents/patients, reviewing patient care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. The RN will monitor patients' health status, respond to emergencies, and provide direct nursing care when necessary.

Requirements

• Current State of Virginia RN license
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in Geriatrics and In-Service Education
• CPR certification required upon hire or willing to obtain

Responsibilities
