About The Position

We are seeking a RN Visit Nurse to work with our hourly line of business, effective immediately. This nurse will primarily be responsible for medication set-ups, advanced personal care, and General Health Evaluations (GHEs), as well as training specialized certifications to select new employees (we will pay for your certification training) and acting as the oversight manager for our LPN visit-staff. This position will cover our service areas of St. Louis City and County, Jefferson County, Franklin County, and St. Charles County. Your time and expertise are precious, so your visits will be clustered according to area for the economy of your time. You will have a company car that you can drive to and from your home each day-no extra time spent driving to and from work THEN switching vehicles to drive to and from your clients’ homes. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and adherence to these policies.
  • A team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible and compassionate.
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Patience with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Valid nursing license.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
  • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to the team.
  • Organize and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
  • Act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing bed, etc.).
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
