About The Position

About the Corewell Health Vein and Vascular Surgery Clinic The Corewell Health Vein Center is the only IAC-accredited vein center in West Michigan. IAC accreditation indicates a dedication to achieving the highest standards of patient care and an unmatched commitment to quality and safety. Our physicians are board-certified and fellowship-trained with extensive vascular experience. As leaders in care, we are involved in research studies that continue to advance vein care. Our comprehensive vein program offers the latest technologies, and only FDA-approved treatments are performed. We specialize in minimally invasive procedures and are trained in the latest FDA-approved treatments and technologies. Our vein program also offers diagnostic testing, compression garment retail, and adjunctive services to create a holistic care experience. Our procedures require no downtime. Some of the conditions we treat are: Varicose veins, Spider veins, Deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • Ideal candidate will be an RN possessing 5+ years of Ambulatory RN experience
  • Prior Ambulatory RN or Care Manager experience preferred
  • Vein, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, or Surgery experience while possessing strong passion for Vein and Vascular Surgery Patient Population will be a strong plus
  • Ideal candidate will enjoy some hands on work as well as some inbasket work
  • We are looking for an RN who may be passionate about this space and patient population and who would like to stay in this position for 1-2+ years
