About The Position

The Casual Utilization Management Lead will use the utilization review process and identify clinically acceptable, cost-effective treatment strategies by identifying appropriate levels of care and ensure appropriate resource usage in order to achieve maximum clinical and financial outcomes. Requirements

  • Minimum of five years recent clinical experience in a health care setting required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required.
  • Knowledge of health care finance environment and reimbursement systems required.
  • Effective critical thinking/analytical skills required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
  • Ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and administration required.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
  • Experience with audiovisual equipment preferred.
  • Experience with computer skills with Windows information systems/computer workstation preferred.
  • Experience with telecommunication equipment and office equipment/supplies preferred.
