Cleveland Clinic’s G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit is dedicated to the care of post-operative urology and overflow surgical patients and focuses on pain control, return of bowel and bladder function, DVT prevention and ambulation. Some of the primary procedures performed on this unit include partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, urolithiasis, and cystectomy with continent/incontinent urinary diversion. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients’ discharge plans, and monitoring, recording and communicating patients’ conditions. A caregiver in this position works as needed on day, evening, night and/or weekend shifts.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
External applicants: two years of recent nursing experience.
Will consider military RN experience.
Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments.
