Requirements

• Current RN license without any enforcement action against it
• Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing Setting preferred
• BLS Certified
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing Setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute daily work assignments to staff
• Makes frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff are following the facility policy and procedures - redirecting or educating as necessary
• Participate in training programs and assist with new staff orientation
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate care for residents
• Process/assist with all new admission orders
