About The Position

Cedar Park Med is seeking Registered Nurse Unit Managers (RNs) for full-time and part-time opportunities, with all shifts available . This opportunity is ideal for an RN who is comfortable overseeing daily unit operations, supporting clinical staff, and helping maintain strong standards of resident care in a structured long-term care environment. Requirements

  • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

Nice To Haves

  • Long-term care experience is a plus, though training may be provided for the right candidate
  • Previous leadership, charge, or supervisory experience is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Assess resident clinical needs and support appropriate care planning
  • Oversee daily operations and supervisory responsibilities for the assigned unit
  • Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff
  • Help maintain quality and consistency of care across the unit
  • Review resident records and monitor care standards
  • Address questions and concerns from residents and families
  • Communicate unit needs and priorities with leadership
  • Support a safe, organized, and resident-focused care environment
