Requirements

• An active Registered Nursing license (RN) in the state of New Jersey
• Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1+ year of experience as an RN Unit Manager or RN Supervisor within a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
• Desire to work with a geriatric population

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit
• Participate in assessing and implementing quality nursing care and provide direct nursing care when necessary
• Develop and manage a budget
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and provide feedback to staff
