About The Position

The RN - UAS Evaluator position at Med-Scribe, Inc. involves conducting assessments for patients in need of Long Term Care services. This hybrid role allows for a combination of remote and in-person evaluations, with approximately 60% of assessments being completed via video conference. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, primarily during weekdays with some evening and weekend availability required.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN License is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is highly preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in home care or UAS is required.
• Proficient computer skills and a typing speed of at least 35 WPM are necessary.

Nice To Haves

• UAS experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with patients to assess their eligibility for Long Term Care services.
• Complete UAS assessments based on patient evaluations.
• Travel to patient locations for in-person assessments as needed.
• Manage a schedule of 2-3 initial and/or reassessment appointments daily within a designated travel area.
• Participate in training sessions for 3-4 weeks to become proficient in the role.
