About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on wound care, treatment, and infection prevention to join our clinical team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in promoting the health and well-being of our residents by managing wound care programs and leading infection control initiatives. Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of NC(Required)
  • 1+ year of clinical RN experience (Wound care or infection control preferred)
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform wound assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based treatments.
  • Monitor and document healing progress, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Serve as the facility’s Infection Preventionist, ensuring compliance with CDC, CMS, and local health department guidelines.
  • Conduct infection control surveillance and risk assessments.
  • Develop and deliver staff training on infection prevention and wound care protocols.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and infection tracking logs.
  • Participate in audits, quality assurance, and performance improvement programs.
