Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
• 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in a specialty area
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification
• For Critical Care Department positions: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) National institute of Neurological disorders and stroke (NIH) Certification
• For Emergency Department positions: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) National institute of Neurological disorders and stroke (NIH) Certification Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
• For NICU and Maternity Department positions: Neonatal Recitation Program (NRP) Certification
• For Long Term Care, Home Health and Behavioral Health Department positions: Fingerprinting Clearance
• Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
• MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
