About The Position

We are seeking an experienced critical care Registered Nurse (RN) to: Join a team of nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for critically ill adult patients. Work in a fast-paced ICU providing care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level One Trauma Center. Be part of an academic medical center and be involved in cutting edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes. Become an expert in using advanced life support therapies including ECMO and continuous dialysis to care for patients.  Be part of a team that serves as emergency responders throughout the hospital.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit. Required
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
  • ACLS within 6 months Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • Relevant RN Experience Preferred
  • Relevant certification Preferred
