About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role involves providing specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill trauma patients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary critical care team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or Trauma ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in high-acuity settings

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill trauma patients
• Continuously monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging for changes in patient status
• Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapeutic interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and other critical care devices
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely patient documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines and patient safety protocols
