As an Intermediate Swing Bed RN, you provide consistent, relationship-based care in a calm, supportive setting. What You Will Do Provide nursing care to intermediate (non-skilled) swing bed patients Support patients who have completed or no longer qualify for skilled therapy Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families Lead and support CNAs and other care partners on the unit Collaborate with acute care nursing staff when questions or needs arise Maintain a calm, steady approach to patient care in a lower-acuity setting The Patients Intermediate (non-skilled) swing bed patients Stable medical needs Longer length of stay than acute care Familiar routines and consistent care plans Not receiving active rehab services Not acute and not long-term care residents The Details Beds: Up to 10 Shifts: 8a to 8p or 8p to 8a Weekends and holidays: Every other On-call: None What We Are Looking For Graduate of an accredited RN program Current Montana RN license or multistate compact license BLS required ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred Experience with long-term care, rehab, or swing bed patients is a plus This role is well suited for nurses who enjoy consistency, meaningful patient interactions, and being part of a close-knit care team.
