About The Position
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role offers competitive weekly pay, completion bonuses, and full benefits. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or compact state eligibility.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required.
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical records preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Meditech.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
