Weston Hospital’s Telemetry Unit cares for cardiac patients and monitors their heart rhythm. Caregivers in this unit may clean and shave a patient’s skin to place electrodes, replace electrodes daily, change batteries in a telemetry device, help someone when their monitor’s alarm sounds and explain telemetry to patients. As an RN in this role, you will use strong assessment and critical-thinking skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure the best outcomes for every patient. You will deliver exceptional care throughout the surgical journey, interacting directly with patients and their families to enhance their overall experience and provide education as needed. A caregiver in this role works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
