This is a .9FTE role working 3 12-hour shifts a week. Some weekends and holidays are included in this schedule. Job Summary: Adventist Health Portland’s Telemetry Unit is a 46-bed unit that provides care for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Complex diagnoses, conditions, and procedures include, but are not limited to: Chest pain Congestive Heart Failure Hypertensive disorders Non-ST Segment myocardial infarctions Acute and chronic dysrhythmias Acute and chronic renal failure COVID Medically complex patients Watchman procedures Pre and post PCI and electrophysiology procedures Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
