About The Position
The Registered Staff Nurse Team Lead oversees and directs an assigned team of care providers, cultivating collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect while delivering safe, patient‑centered care. The Team Lead ensures that patient care and supportive services are delivered in a manner consistent with achieving positive patient outcomes, maximizing patients’ involvement in their own plan of care, reducing length of hospitalization, and controlling costs. In partnership with the Department Manager, and in alignment with the health system’s mission, values, and goals, the Registered Staff Nurse Team Lead participates in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating patient care operations for designated area(s).
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program with Current Ohio License Required
- BLS, Registered Nurse with Current Ohio License Required
- 3‑5 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1‑2 years in a leadership, supervisory or charge nurse role
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN); Associate Degree - Acceptable in some scenarios with strong leadership experience
