About The Position

Take your nursing career further with Guthrie’s Float Pool — and claim a $50,000 Sign-On Bonus when you join our Critical Care (ICU) Night Shift team. As a Night Shift Critical Care (ICU) System Float Pool RN, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high-quality patient care, providing relief to hardworking teams, and ensuring seamless operations across Guthrie hospitals. Schedule: Full-time, 36 hrs/week. Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Rotation: Every other weekend. Licensure: Active RN licenses in both PA & NY required to float across multiple Guthrie locations.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in the State of Practice.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• Specialty Certification is preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS is unit dependent.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop, update, and coordinate the patients' plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and other members of the healthcare team.
• Accountable for safety, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and practice at the top of license.
• Demonstrate leadership as change agents using collaborative leadership skills.
• Participate in the planning and presentation of educational programs.
